Really excellent experience. Beautiful service, beautiful building, and beautiful surroundings. Fully recommended. The owners/staff went above and beyond to make our wedding a success.
They were always on hand checking if everything was okay.
They worked for hours without pay helping the catering staff.
They even gave us an extra night for free.
Book! You wont regret it.

We booked out the whole of the barn for a surprise 40th birthday celebration for my Wife and had a fantastic time! The rooms were all clean and well maintained, and the main area was fantastic for holding our new year's celebrations! Very picturesque location and not too far to get to Aber for shopping and a walk by the sea.
I think the main gripe all weekend was that we could have done with sharper knives for our food prep, which shows that really we had everything we could have needed and more.
Shout out to Gareth and Rebecca who are the owner and Operations Director respectively - they could not have been more helpful. They organised early access for most of our party to decorate the place for my wife's arrival so we could surprise her with everyone there, and enabled us to check out late too. Nothing was too much trouble - and they weren't even annoyed when we set the fire alarm off when cooking our roast dinner!
Thank you!

100% recommend if you want to do a big weekend trip with a large number of friends. Onsite parking, 2 huge reception rooms and kitchen in the main house. Each room was spot on clean. The huge hot tub was a bonus!
Just the toilet seats in every room seemed to be poorly installed. All of them were wobbly. Besides that, everything was spot on.

I had the pleasure of staying here in the Easter school holidays. We hired the whole place which included 2 large houses and a farm house. There is so much land and a hot tub. The place is perfect for a large family get together. Our beds were comfy and the place is well equipped. The views and bird song were phenomenal. It was a joy to sit on a bench overlooking the pond with a glass of wine.

We have just come back from a fantastic break away at the Tynrhyd Retreat and can highly recommended. We (8 adults, 4 kids, 3 dogs) stayed in the farmhouse and thoroughly enjoyed our week away.
Gareth was always helpful and we will hopefully be back again in the future

Fabulous property with spacious living rooms. Great place for a large group get-together. Always good to have a place where the dogs are allowed as part of the family. The hot tub was a bonus after a day's hike in the beautiful surrounding scenery. Spectacular starling murmuration viewed from the patio too!

My daughter and I came down for a night's stay as she had an applicants information day to attend at Aberystwyth University.
We had a long drive down from Central Scotland and our sat nav took us astray. The owner was extremely helpful staying with us for a good while on the phone to help us get back on the right road to the hotel which was greatly appreciated.
We were allowed to bring our dog with us. This is a great place to bring a dog as they can be walked in beautiful surroundings till their hearts are content.
Our room and facilities were excellent. I appreciated a long soak in their bath after the long stressful journey down.
The self catering facilities are very good and would be ideal for group bookings. They have a pretty good games room and a piano in one of the communal areas. (The piano needs tuning though - albeit I've played on worse).
I really appreciated the artwork that is in and around the place especially the woodcarvings.
I also thoroughly enjoyed my day in Aberystwyth. The highlight of my stay was seeing a number of red kites whilst out walking my dog amid some spectacular scenery.
I would jump at the chance to go back there again and to stay for longer.
